Guidance That Moves You Forward

We simplify strategy so you can focus on growing a business you love, without the exhaustion.

You didn’t build a business to spend your time treading water.

Mary McGovern Gebhardt has spent more than four decades inside organizations of every size — from Stanford and USF to multinational organizations and small businesses with sole proprietors. She’s worked with CEOs that have reached their breaking point, and facilitated teams that couldn’t look at each other.

Early in her career, Mary developed and pioneered a revolutionary international MBA program where employed CEOs and managers “learned on Monday, and applied it in their workplaces on Tuesday.” That same philosophy drives her work today: smart advice should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. It should land immediately, and work right away.

In 1991, she founded her own management consulting firm, Collaboration & Innovation Management Consulting. She has designed custom interventions for the Governor's Committees for Employment, Bank of America, the World Institute on Disability, Sonoma Raceway, The Cheesecake Factory, and a myriad of small and large businesses. She has facilitated extensive strategic planning for both nonprofit and for-profit businesses.

Whether your business is medical, construction, home services, food industry, agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, wellness, music, hospitality, transportation, or education — Mary will make you more successful and profitable (and help you enjoy your work more).

Mary brings her university credibility and decades of real-world problem-solving to business owners who want to stop guessing, and start moving.

"I was running a successful business, but falling apart personally. I was unable to focus, dreading Monday mornings, and my relationships were suffering.

Mary was the first person who didn't try to fix me with a framework or a spreadsheet. She just sat with me, asked the right questions, and helped me see what I had been avoiding for years. Six months later, I actually like running my business again. My team noticed before I did."
